Health Department and my Mental Health

Right in the Jersey Mike's Subs Frisco Plano mission statement:  "served in an impeccably clean restaurant", which we do maintain....so why do I get so damn nervous and uptight every time the Health Inspector comes in? Hell, I have shot free throws in front of 10,000 people, that was pressure! We have always received an "A" grade, usually 1 minor infraction of something silly not labeled or out of place, NO WORRIES! right? Wrong, my heart sinks, my brow sweats and my shoulders hunch, thoughts of I don't know what race through my mind, as if some giant rat came in the store and had babies since I left 30 minutes ago......Life is funny, even when we know we have nothing to worry about we stress more, when we should stress we don't? Why is that? Not really sure.....plus for goodness sake we make subs, not new hearts.


Guess the point is, we are true to our mission statement and pass with flying colors, and my mental health suffers, because I want our customer to have the best freshly sliced sub in a clean store served by a well trained team. Thanks to all of you for making us the best.

Wipe Out Kids Cancer Donation

Jersey Mike's Subs of DFW presented WOKC with a check for $50,000 last week, which concludes this wildly successful fund raiser benefiting children with cancer and their families.

It was an amazing ride and Jersey Mike's Frisco Plano was happy to be a part of the success! The communities of Frisco and Plano came out and supported this cause by raising $6,760 in our 2 stores, we appreciate all of you!

Wipe Out Kids Cancer Video & Recap

Wipe Out Kids Cancer Day at Jersey Mike's Plano/Frisco was a huge success, raising $6,760 for this very deserving Charity. In addition, DFW Jersey Mike's Stores combined to raise $50,000!

Customers in Jersey Mike's Frisco/Plano locations were treated to live radio broadcasts, DJ's spinning tunes, Mascot appearances, Local Dignitary appearances, and the unparalleled customer service they have become accustom to from Jersey Mike's Frisco/Plano.

Volunteers included:  Frisco Mayor Maso, Wipe Out Kids Cancer Board Members, Frisco Business Association, Frisco & Plano Chamber Members, Frisco & Plano Chamber Presidents, Mary Dowling, U15 Frisco Dynamo Girls Soccer &; Zeigler Family Members.

Dallas DJ Bill Cody to support Jersey Mike's Plano & WOKC

To ensure everyone has a great time while supporting Wipe Out Kids Cancer on Friday, March 12th, Dallas's #1 DJ Bill Cody will be appearing at Jersey Mike's Plano(1881 N. Central Expressway, Southbound South of Park) from 11 - 1. Bill will be the official MC and will be playing music to make the event lively.

DJ Bill Cody is known as the "Best Voice in the Business" for flawless announcements. "High Energy" enthusiastic performance makes Bill the number one choice for Corporate functions in the Dallas / Fort Worth, and North Texas area. Bill also regularly travels for major events around the country.
